Solar Energy Safety in 2018

Comments are off for this post.

Hello to all.

I’m going to be more involved with the content of our blog post for the foreseeable future.  I posted a blog some years ago titled, How Did We Get Here. After stopping at a convenience store for a rest stop, I selected a bottle of pop and a candy bar, took it to the counter and the young lady working there asked for three dollars and twenty six cents! My mind would not compute! 3.26 for a pop and candy bar? Well, I got over it and paid the nice girl and went on my way thinking about that purchase, how did we get the point that it takes and we except, that kind of pricing?  For some time thereafter I commented on thinks that seemed, at least to me, to be out of place. At first there was interest, for a couple of hundred followers, but it died away and we mover Q-Energy into the Solar business and there just was not time to devote to the blog.

This year we will be concentrating on company wide safety more so than ever. Yes we have a Very Great Safety Record, but I want to make it better. New thinking on eye safety,  air borne contaminants, hearing and hand protection. These are the areas I want all of our people to concentrate on. They  will become items of testing as well as added to the Commitment to Excellence we all sign each year. This of course will have to be introduced by the Safety Committee and voted into the by-laws, but I think it is a good Idea.
