Q – Energy brings a new kind of Residential and Commercial Solar Sales & Installation Company to Mason City IA

Mason City IA – Q-Energy, an Iowa company based in Belle Plaine IA is pleased to now offer solar sales and installation services in North Iowa and Southern MN.
Q-Energy, LLC, was first incorporated as a Nevada Corporation in 2008 by Mr. Tom Sims and in 2012 moved it to an Iowa Corporation with Mr. Sims as a single owner LLC. For several years Q-Energy concentrated on Wind Renewable Energy, but entered into its first venture for solar in 2014.
What’s new is the way to finance the cost of a solar system. A first in the Midwest, they are offering a $0 down, no out of pocket ownership solution. Solar has been typically been a cash purchase or a long term lease in which the property owner never actually owns the system, and the lease company retains the ownership plus gains the benefit of the government tax incentives.
Q-Energy now makes solar ownership possible by paying for the system using any and all federal, state or utility company incentives. Q-Energy allows property owners to pay for the system with no upfront or out of pocket expense by diverting what was being paid to the utility company to paying for the solar system.
The property owner gains the benefit of all tax incentives and the cost of the system can be paid for in as little as three years. By investing the monthly electric payment paid to the utility company into generating their own power from solar energy, property owners can generate all the electricity they need and one-day end that monthly payment.
Q-Energy is working to create local jobs and currently looking to open a sales office in Mason City with a goal to within 5 years open a solar manufacturing operation in the Mason City area.
